Why Proper Aim Calibration Matters

Muscle memory in competitive shooters relies on muscle activation patterns calibrated down to the millimeter. Here is how we preserve your aim.

True Mathematical Yaw

We use verified internal game engine yaw multipliers (like Source 0.022 and Riot 0.070) to ensure zero angle distortion or rounding drift.

Zero Latency Client Math

All calculations execute in raw browser memory in under 1 millisecond. No bloated server roundtrips, no tracking cookies, no paywalls.

100% Free & Open

Every supported title—from classic Counter-Strike to brand new releases like Deadlock and Marvel Rivals—is completely unlocked for free.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know About Sensitivity Math

Learn how game engine yaw multipliers work, how to preserve muscle memory, and how to calibrate your mouse settings.

Why can't I just use the same sensitivity number across different games?

Every game engine uses its own internal rotation multiplier, known as the Yaw Factor (m_yaw). For example, moving your mouse one hardware count in Valorant turns your camera by 0.070 degrees, whereas in Counter-Strike 2 (Source 2 engine) it only turns 0.022 degrees. Because the underlying multipliers differ by more than 3x, a 1.0 sensitivity in CS2 would feel completely unplayable if entered directly into Valorant. Sens Converter normalizes the math so your physical hand movement on the mousepad (cm/360) is 100% identical.

What is cm/360 and why is it the universal standard for FPS aim?

cm/360 (centimeters per 360-degree rotation) measures the exact physical distance in centimeters your mouse must travel across your mousepad to make your in-game crosshair complete a full 360-degree circle. Unlike arbitrary in-game sensitivity sliders, cm/360 is an absolute physical measurement independent of DPI, resolution, and game engine. For tactical shooters like Valorant and CS2, competitive players typically fall between 30 cm/360 and 55 cm/360.

What is eDPI and how do I calculate it?

eDPI stands for Effective Dots Per Inch. It is calculated by multiplying your mouse hardware DPI by your in-game sensitivity (Formula: eDPI = DPI × In-Game Sens). eDPI allows players playing the same game to compare their true sensitivity regardless of mouse hardware. For example, 400 DPI at 2.0 sensitivity equals 800 eDPI, which is the exact same speed as 800 DPI at 1.0 sensitivity.

Does monitor resolution (1080p, 1440p, 4K) or aspect ratio change 3D sensitivity?

No. In 3D first-person shooters, mouse movement rotates a 3D spherical camera angle in degrees, not 2D pixels on your monitor. Whether you play on 1080p, 1440p, or 4K, your degrees-per-count and physical cm/360 remain completely unchanged. While playing on 4:3 stretched aspect ratio may visually stretch horizontal movement across a 16:9 display, your physical hand-to-angle rotation remains mathematically identical.

How do I choose between High Sens and Low Sens?

Low sensitivity (cm/360 > 45 cm) provides maximum stability and precision for micro-adjustments, making it ideal for tactical shooters like Valorant and CS2 where crosshair placement and first-bullet accuracy win rounds. High sensitivity (cm/360 < 25 cm) allows rapid 180° turns and vertical tracking, suitable for fast-paced tracking games like Overwatch 2 and Apex Legends. Most esports pros use a balanced medium sensitivity (30–45 cm/360).

Is Sens Converter completely free with no paywall?

Yes, 100% free with zero paywalls. Unlike legacy tools that lock newer games (like Deadlock and Marvel Rivals) or advanced calculations behind paid monthly subscriptions, Sens Converter provides all 17+ game engines, cm/360 distance math, eDPI conversion, and the interactive aim tester completely free for the gaming community.
